What is a Prefab Building and how is it structured? Prefab Building Prefab is a general term for the word prefabricated which means it is made or fabricated early on. Prefab home is a term widely used in the construction world. Prefabricated buildings consist of building’s parts such as doors, door frames, windows, walls, roofs etc made in advance in a factory or warehouse. Then the parts are sent to and assembled at the project site.
